Timor-Leste

Global Industries Group has been working with the Government of Timor-Leste since 2013 and understands that Timor-Leste is desperately in need of self-sufficiency for the betterment of its country and its people.

Timor-Leste has a population of 1.25 million.

With limited food groups only available in Timor-Leste, most food products have to be imported as a substitute. This is at a great cost to the Nation’s economic growth.

Both the Government of Timor-Leste and Global Industries Group have the same goals to ensure Timor-Leste reaches its full National potential including providing a nutritional school feeding program to all children attending school, incorporating freshly produced and grown Timor-Leste meat, fish, vegetables, fresh milk and water to all schools Timor-Leste wide (even those schools up in the mountains!).

Global Industries Group has the experience, knowledge and ability to create a seamless economy incorporating all divisions required for Timor-Leste to become totally self-sufficient – from the processor to the distributor, retailer and exporter. This will provide widespread growth, food and water security and training and employment for all Timor-Leste’s people.

Global Industries Group’s Companies in Timor-Leste want to be the second largest employer group after the Government of Timor-Leste.

Our team on the ground in Timor-Leste have years and years of experience from living and working in Timor-Leste. This knowledge provides the perfect platform for our liaison with the Government of Timor-Leste to ensure the goals of the Government and the Timorese people are fulfilled.
